Jake & Steven

When Jake Roberts was in Key West for his Pan shoot we discovered that after the costume fitting, checking out the set and props, etc. we had an extra four hours on our hands. I suggested a tour of the town, but Jake said "Hey, I'm here to shoot. Let's do something." I'd already blown my budget on the Pan costume, makeup artists, extra lighting crew and our female model. So the question was what could we do on a shoestring and stay in our Greek mode for the weekend? The answer was this set "Ode to a Grecian Urn."

Taking my inspiration from the gold and black amphora of Attica, I ran down to the thrift store to buy yards of gold fabric and black masking tape. My other stop was Mo's theater supply for some bottles of black body paint. My friend Steven stepped in as the second soldier and we had our Greek scenes in the making. Hope you enjoy our little fantasy. Oh yeah, someone has already suggested our own line of dinnerware. What do you think?
